Our Association had the pleasure of offering a holiday gift to the Vocational High School of Amorgos: an earthworm composter, which was accompanied by an information event for the students. Earthworm composting is an easy process that transforms vegetable scraps from the kitchen into a rich, high-quality compost.The specially designed bin will constitute a learning and awareness tool for the students of the Agriculture and Food Technology Sector, but also for all students, in relation to soil biology, waste minimization and the circular economy.
The action was carried out in collaboration with the High School Teachers' Association, the Foundation for the Protection and Promotion of the Cyclades Environment (Cyclades Preservation Fund -CPF) and the #HelidoniFoundation for the technical support.
